Location, accessibility & parking

The entrance to our Rutherglen veterinary surgery is located on Woodside Road, between Waverly Drive and Scioncroft Avenue. There are public car parking spaces directly outside our practice.

Our practice not only caters to the veterinary needs of people from Rutherglen, but thanks to our comprehensive range of services and our friendly team, we also attract clients from as far afield as Cambuslang, Laurieston, and Giffnock, who are looking for the services of an excellent independent vet in Glasgow.

Driving directions

Driving from Cambuslang – Take Clydeford Road/A763 past Cambuslang Golf Club on your right, go straight over at the roundabout onto Clydesmill Road/A763. Go straight over two more roundabouts onto Cambuslang Road. Then at the next roundabout go straight over onto Bogleshore Road and turn right onto Cambuslang Road. Take a left onto Peebles Drive and then turn right onto Woodside Drive. Follow it along until you see the Avenues Veterinary Centre on your left.

Driving from Giffnock – Take Braidholme Road onto Langside Drive and turn right onto Merry Lee Road and follow the B762 along, turning right onto Old Castle Road, through to Menock Road, left onto Kingsbridge Drive (still non B762) and right onto Kings Park Avenue. Turn left onto the A730, and then immediately right onto Rodger Drive. At the t-junction, turn left onto Stonelaw Road/A749, and the 2nd right onto Dryburgh Avenue. At the roundabout, go straight over onto Woodside Drive and the Avenues Veterinary Centre will be on your right.
